Kim, I can totally relate. I finally bought a crockpot a bout a year ago and really enjoy mine. I do so little cooking nowadays that it's hard for me to come up with a recipe but I'm still thinking.

Hey everyone, I am sorry but I just can't keep up with you guys. It's that I am too bussy. Sue, yes, this is what bechamel sause is, but you can buy it if this is difficult for you to prepare.

Hey Cynthia, you've got to ask my wife for this. :) As I've already mentioned, I am an expert at tasting foods, not at cooking them. :) Well, as soon as I find some time, I might write the recipe.

Sorry I haven't read all the replies.... but I'm a total fan of being a DUMP cook. Hahahaha...... that means dropping something in the crockpot and coming home to a hearty meal 6hrs later.

Konti,
what is bechamel sauce? is it like a white sauce, made with milk, butter and flour/cornstarch?

Welcome, Birdy. Maybe you can suggest some creative ways to eat healthy. I think we'd all love to hear that too.

Konti,
I have one more request... Rice Pudding.... the Greek make the best rice pudding "ever". and although my son worked for Jamie (my Greek friend) as did my sister-in-law he would not give us his recipe for rice pudding...I have tried to make it, but it is not Greek tasting. I know the milk and rice have to be boiled to death but can you give us your secrets??? pretty please????

That's all for tonight/today. I am full, I can't eat anymore. :D

Hey Holy ones,

I am very good at greek food, actually I'm an expert, only that I am an expert in eating them, not in cooking. :D Sorry guys if I disappointed you, but I have to ask for my wife's help in order to give you any recipe.

Yes Cynthia, all of what you mentioned are really good. I laughed with what you called: goat cheese, which we call it "feta". Actually I eat a lot of feta. I can't imagine a dish without feta. While the yellow cheeses, (gouda, edam, etc,) while they are very delicious, it's strange that we almost don't use them at all in our house.
