Stuffed peppers

Cynthia's yummy sounding stuffed cabbage recipe reminded me of stuffed peppers. I used to make them a long time ago but haven't lately. Does anyone have a good, preferably easy recipe for them?

Sorry..I don't have one..I don't like peppers that much...they are ok if they are chopped up small and cooked in things....but I have not ever made stuffed ones. I have gotten to where I like them more than I use to......I/you can look for them on http://www.recipes.com . There are many hundreds of good recipes there! I am thinking that people who make them stuff them with very similiar ingredients as the cabbage rolls though....like hamburger, onions and rice...and seasonings...just my guess!

this is so funny Aida, I made stuffed peppers today.
I do the same hamburg recipe as for the cabbage...however
i cut my peppers in half (and only use tomatoe sauce)
after I stuff them, I place them in my electric cooker with a little bit of water (and a tblsp of sugar)
because the peppers are in half, they don't take as long to cook

Stuffed Peppers sounds like something fun to play with :-P I'll have to make some and make up the recipe as I go along LOL, who knows, it may even be edible when I'm done hehe.

Thanks for the link, Deb. I sometimes forget to look things up on the internet. I did that last week when I needed a French toast recipe but forgot this time.

I haven't made them in a while but I remember that stuffed peppers are easy to make and yummy. I used to make them in a pressure cooker but it died many years ago and I don't have one now. I think when I make them, I'm going to use my slow cooker.

Cynthia, thanks for the suggestion of cutting them in half. I've never done that before but it sounds like a good idea.
