Sue, I wanted to comment on your art pieces on your website....they are so amazing! What I really love about them, besides the creativity in them, is that they are from recycled 'waste!' I think it is awesome to take something going to the landfill and making it something a person would desire to for its asthetics and hang on their wall. The beauty in this circle of life is what shines thru your work. Thanks for sharing!!! Oh...and don't forget the gift of your husbands sawdust! I can see you using that as well! It could make a lot of awesome pieces! Bet you've already thot of it!

i love creating...it is my livelihood right now, so i am really doing a lot of it...the hardest part is building what i see in my head...i do NOT have an engineer brain, and i need to solve so many puzzles in my work. for instance, i am working on a project right now that i need to have something really heavy for....i need to use something that will get thrown away into a landfill...the whole piece is recycled except for the painting of it....i have styrofoam, shredded paper, credit/bank cards, an old piece of masonite, one big rock, but need something even bigger for the base, which has to be pretty heavy....have to look in the garage, i guess, but it's hard to get in there...haha
i do a lot of recycled styrofoam and cardboard on canvas....look at my blog, it has some photos of my work...they just don't look as good though as in person where you can see all the dimensional aspects... www.silversaddlearts.blogspot.com

Birdy, I want to second what Deb said and thank you for starting this group. There are not many places where free believers can express their creative side so it'll be interesting to see what is posted here.

I'm not at all creative so I'm sure I'll have nothing to contribute but I'll enjoy seeing what is posted by our creative members.
