Joel, you really would have disappointed me if you hadn't figured it out. LOL

And I definitely understand what you mean about time. I remember when I first found your blog and connected with the other bloggers, I had no trouble keeping up. Now, I can barely keep up with my own blog. Sigh!!

Yep, it is pretty easy...and you can even change it by using your own photos too :-). These NING "themes" have come a long way...but you can even modify them...which is what I do most of the time on my page.

Have a God Filled Day! :-)

Joel, your page looks good. I knew you'd figure it out.

I do mine the lazy way. I let Deb change it when she changes the main page although I do like the variety of seeing the different looking pages.

Joel, you are very talented but I knew that already. I’m like you for breakfast and lunch but variety at dinner is nice. Hopefully, our chefs will start giving us some more ideas. Did you see Konti’s posts? He shared some of his wife’s Greek recipes with us. I’m sure some of those would be really delicious and fun to try.

Joel, I saw that you joined our Cook's Corner group. I'm impressed. Along with your many other gifts, do you also cook? Of course, I'm a member and haven't posted one recipe yet. Now that it's just me and Charlie, I don't cook as much as I used to. Maybe only a couple of times a week.

I was going to try to make some of the suggested recipes but I've been more disorganized than usual since he had his surgery. Maybe I'll soon get a chance to experiment now that things are slowly returning to normal.

I'm so glad that you were able to enjoy your family for Thanksgiving. They really are something to be thankful for. By the way the Exchanged Life broadcast that was aired quite a while ago was very very encouraging to me. I'm so glad that there is teaching that focuses in on the full gospel.

Do we have a duty to serve God? Is God looking to us and our strengths and capabilities to serve Him? Is there something about us that our self-sufficient, self-sustaining God needs?… Continue

Performance-Based Acceptance Stories - Links

Wow... these stories have had an impact on me! On the one had they've left me hurting, feeling, aching, crying and growing in compassion - knowing that our stories represent so many people around the world who deal with legalism and the bondage of performing for God and/or others to earn or maintain acceptance. But of course I've also found my heart being filled with joy as I've read how God has set hearts free and continues to help people live in the freedom for which He set them free!

On the… Continue

Tell Your Performance-Based Acceptance Story this Tuesday!

A stand alone sentence in Paul Anderson-Walsh's book Until Christ is Formed reads:
Each and every one of us has our own story to tell about the problem of Performance-based Acceptance.

I reckon that's true - and so I ask: What about you? What's your story? In what ways has Performance-Based Acceptance been a problem in your life? In what ways have you gained freedom?
In order to join together in sharing our stories (hopefully enco… Continue
