Eating everything in site
Hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas holidays, I've been enjoying them alittle to much. I think I've gained 5 pounds. It looks like alot of people got snow this year, except maybe Florida. In Washington State we got quite a bit this year, I really love it. I'm in the Puget Sound so its starting to warm up enough to melt it away during the rest of the week. Its really is beautiful though. Anyway I just wanted to touch bases and wish everyone a loving and blessed Christmas.

I am noticing that you have posted two blogs......one showed up on the main page and says FEATURE on it....the other one never was on the main page and doesn't say FEATURE on it. So, I commented on your more recent blog today...and I am pretty sure now that it didn't show up because of HOW you posted it :-). Just for future referrence....because the newer ones are on the main page for awhile...and I don't think many people go "into" view all blogs much....and that is how yours was passed over. :-) Just wanted to let you know that is my thinking....and NOT that you were being ignored or anything! I really hope that you didn't feel that way!!! I don't even usually go into the view all blogs myself because I catch them when they first show up on the main page. Hope I am making some sense here...and not confusing you!!!

I listen to Darin's sermons and podcast a lot myself. Since I found his book about a year and a half ago, my life hasn't been the same. It is a scary journey especially at the beginning but just continue to move forward and things will start making more sense in time and it won't be so fearful.
Cynthia is right. I used to be fearful of anything that was different than what the institutional church taught me. What I found, however, is that I was never able to really connect with the life of God. I always knew there was something that I was missing but I didn't know what. Now life has changed dramatically and I wouldn't go back to the old way for anything.

I hope you'll be able to re-post your blog. Normally, I type my blog first as a word document and make sure it's saved before I post it. That way in case it gets eaten by the cyber gremlins, I have a back up.
